“Hey...can we...talk...somewhere...private? Oh, and hello Mina, nice to see you…” Andrea said while she waved.Mina nodded, while looking at the giant belly covered by a cotton, sapphire-colored dress, and put her hand on AJ’s right humerus, “I’m...uhh...going to make my rounds.”
“Yeah...sounds good,” he answered, not once taking his squinted eyes off of radiant and smiling Andrea.
“Shall we...go somewhere private?” she asked again as she shook her head slightly.
“Uh, yeah. Yeah, Sure…” and he led her to one of the empty patients rooms as Mina observed their interactions from The Nurse’s Station.

I know you were probably doing ‘you’ time during those two weeks, but I just wanted you to know that I still thought and cared about you, hence why I left you so many messages,” Devon said.“And I appreciate it. Hearing them... was pretty nice…” she said and she gave Devon a quick grin.
“You know...you’re like the big sister I never had...I hated the fact that I could actually lose you. You’ve been there for me when I really needed the support…” and he lowered his head and breathed in deeply.
“Hey,” and then Mina reached and touched his hand, which is something she normally wouldn’t do, “thank you for being the little brother I’ve never had too... Thank you for worrying about me.”

Seeing that AJ and her were finally alone, Nic walked up to where he was sipping his coffee and squinting in displeasement.“Soooo….does your excellent mood have anything to do with a certain special someone?” and she tilted his head and added a slight smirk upon her lips.
“Hmmm, how did you guess?” he answered as he started stirring some sugar into the coffee.
“So...how was it last night? I suppose you enjoyed yourself…”
“It was absolutely amazing...it was more than I could ever have hoped for...she even made me dinner. It was literally one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten...and I eat all kinds of food.”
“Yeah...she was excited to make it for you…,” and she put her hand on his shoulder and added, “You know, she really cares about you AJ…” AJ looked at the hand on his shoulder, normally he’d get upset that someone touched him...someone other than Mina that is, but Nic wasn’t one to touch unless it was safe to do so, and he also knew that she wasn’t a threat.Series

This is the ending I see based on this season. It was very difficult to write and I apologize in advance if you need some tissues. It's still being revised so pardon the typos.
“There will be a surgery. And if you know what is good for you, you will compose yourself or I will kick you off my team.” I could recognize that voice anywhere. We all turned our heads and saw the most beautiful Nigerian woman that could ever exist... Mina.
“Hello. My name is Dr. Mina Okafor-I’m Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, General, Trauma, and Pediatric Surgery certified. Basically, I can do most of your jobs all.by.myself. However, I was instructed that I need to have a team, so I chose only the best there were in the world. Yes, it is a shame that my colleague, Dr. Musa passed away, however, I am now in charge and you will all do as I say so that the patients have the best outcomes possible. If you choose to not want to participate, that means you, Dr. Gabriel, then get out. Now.” She gave a very profound stare as she looked around the room- mostly to see if anyone flinched or obliged. I was too focused on her beauty and arrogance to even bother to blink. “Good. Now lets begin.”

It was almost the eve of Conrad’s wedding and I was on my way to the Bachelor Party. We were headed to some club named “The Pies” by the heart of Atlanta. Thanks to COVID not many places were opened-many went out of business so there were only a handful of places where this bachelor party could be held.
The other guys were not outdoorsy so Devon had to choose a spot that was not...let’s say- a place where we’d normally go to, however, “where everyone could participate”- his words, not mine. Conrad and I loved being outdoors: we could hike, be in airplanes, swim long distances and in deep places, and parachute with ease. But those other dudes-sometimes I find myself being surprised that Devon and Feldman can tie their shoes- that’s a sport in itself for them. And the other men-well they might just die of a heart attack if given the opportunity to do something extraneous.

I chose not to rate this story, but instead provide specific content warnings. There is mention of blood, health-related ailments, and eating disorders. This last topic is deeply personal to me, and what I wrote was based off my personal experience with an eating disorder. I understand that this story does not encapsulate fully the complexity of the disease (after all, this is a fictional piece), but bringing awareness to topics like this is extremely important. I do not claim this is the only way one can experience this type of eating disorder, nor that this story represents all eating disorders. Again, this is based on my personal experience, and I hope that in sharing this, people can realize they are not alone.
