Monica has been working at Meliorn’s café ‘Magical Moments’ for six months when she clocks them. They are mid twenties, perhaps the shorter one a little older. They come into the café around the same time each day, sit at tables slightly diagonal from each other, and spend the whole time pretending that they aren’t looking at each other. It’s kinda cute but the tension is enough to give Monica hives. After a week she just wants to bang their heads together.
