Summary
Set in regency era London, this is my take on a smosh-inspired season of Bridgeton (Netflix). Mainly focusing on Lord Trevor Evarts, Lady Arasha Hecox, Lord Damien Haas, and Miss Angela Topp. I took liberties to make some people related for story purposes (i.e. Arasha is Ian’s daughter), and tried to condense the story to one social season.
It’s gonna make a lot more sense if you’ve seen Bridgerton. I do not own these characters and I’m not affiliated with smosh or bridgerton.

When Tommy meets Shayne freshman year, he doesn't expect their friendship to last much longer than the two week university orientation, but, after Shayne continues to make meaningful -- if not brief -- appearances in his life, he admits to himself that maybe he should've tried harder to keep him around. When a speaking engagement brings them closer than they've ever been, Tommy's forced to address the fact that the desire he's long considered fantasy may be more in reach than it seems.

Parties are high-anxiety situations for most people. And its not like they don't affect Tommy's anxiety, because they absolutely do. Parties are overstimulating in a different way, a calming way. How can you think when all your other senses we're being overwhelmed and attacked?
Frankly, Damien looked remarkable in the lighting of the bar. The red and purple lights of the bar danced across his face in a breathtaking fashion. The way his hair parted and fell upon his forehead looked so majestic, so intentional. It was a photography-worthy sight that had Tommy enamoured.
But it was purely from a director standpoint. Thats the excuse that Tommy told himself. Just a natural appreciation for art. Nothing more, nothing less.
OR
Tommy bartends and talks to Damien during a company party. Eventually, they got tired of the drunk people and wanted an escape.

However, after coughing up a few bloody sunflower petals and a night of stressing in his bathroom, he quickly realised how much he had fucked up.
He knew why he had coughed them up. Hanahaki. It happened a lot in these loveless times, that's why Trevor had always been careful. He kept his heart to himself andstayed carefull, but who knew you could get it from a fucked up friendships?
