We got out.
“Half a generator,” I say. “We got half.”
Claudette looks at me and nods slowly. “I fixed one in the house too.”
The girl and the old man look at us with confused faces. The girl speaks up after opening her mouth soundlessly twice, “We did two together, working on a third when the alarm sounded.”
All of us do the math. Three working generators never opened any doors before. Five generators, four survivors. Four generators, three survivors.
“What happened? Why did we get free? Did you find something? A key?”, the girl asks with brightly shining hope.
Claudette throws a look at me and surprises me when she speaks. “Something like that.”

Summary
Kate Denson was always a people's person, but she couldn't deny that the occasional peace and quiet wasn't soothing. Was it that serenity, then, what drew her to Claudette? An introverted girl always by herself, but with her ears open to anyone that needed to vent, even when she was feeling overwhelmed. Kate fell for the warmth in her hugs and her smile, not wanting to let her go. But, when the Entity tries to pry that warmth away for its own unhinged purposes, Kate has to do all she can to keep Claudette with her, or risk being dragged into the Void for her insubordination.

Summary
What if the characters you control in Dead By Daylight are real in another Realm and everything you do with them in the game is what they do in that Realm, but the way they provoke it is different. What will happen if the developers added a new feature with a hidden secret that only the players and characters can solve in their own ways? What if this secret is how to get an ending for the game characters. Will they somehow be able to leave the Entity's grasp with some unknown force controlling them along with a few mysterious allies? Or will they all die and no longer exists? Only time and fate will tell.
