Kwazii has a problem, and its name is Paani and his feelings for the macaque. Two little words have sent him spiraling and he is not handling it well. So what does he decide to do: ignore the problem until it goes away. It's a great plan. A fantastic plan really. Until Paani (and Captain Barnacles and Dashi) get kidnapped by his old crew... that may be a bigger problem.

After the Ring of fire events, the octuants believe they deserve a well needed vacation, so they get to this well known resort, Kwazii meets and surfer mouse girl, Who he thinks is a really nice person, with a strict platonic relationship, or so he thought, she wanted something more, and she soon comes up with a plan to make sure she gets what she wants.

Summary
Kwazii had taken the Gup B for a drive. This was not an unusual occurrence, but the fact that he'd been gone for so long, without so much as a word from him, was unusual.
Why had he suddenly stopped communicating?
Because Kwazii had crashed.
On a normal trip out with the Gup B, Kwazii loses control of it and crashes into the mouth of a cave, causing the rocks to collapse on top of him and trap him underneath. With twenty minutes of air and a Gup B that won't start, he can only hope the rest of the crew will come to his rescue before he runs out of oxygen.
Kwazii isn't worried. Surely they'll get there in time... Right?

Being a pirate and an octonaut meant that Kwazzi was familiar with close calls. They happened to him often. But it was usually him that had the close calls. But that changed the day the Octopod crashed on the skeleton coast. Kwazzi saved Paani from falling off a ledge and from being chased by hungry rats. And most recently, from an alligator and shark stand off.
What happens if Kwazzi wakes from a nightmare we’re he didn’t quite make it in time to save his friend from some hungry and angry sharks.
