Summary
(Rewritten, post chapter 1!)
The shadow of Ashfur‘s tyranny has receded, leaving broken lives and fading stars in his wake. Four apprentices, the best of friends, are left to pick up the pieces and end Ashfur‘s reign once and for all.
Cats are going missing left and right in RiverClan, with few worried about where they‘ve gone. In ThunderClan, Bramblestar gets more neglectful and bitter by the sunrise, with no hope of change. A young SkyClan apprentice is holding a balance between life and death. Times remain peaceful in ShadowClan and WindClan, but they cannot remain that way if bad times come once more.
Darkness is descending upon the clans once more, with no light at the end of the tunnel.
There may be hope, though, in the echoes of the past.

There are four clans. River, Shadow, Thunder and Wind. They all have respective territory, and respect for their clan. Some die, some may live, some may grow in ranks. They may be traitors, or they may be so loyal that they would die for their clan; Each own clan respectively having warriors, apprentices, medicine cats.
But what if I told you there was a clan that no one knows about? A clan that hides amongst the grass and gravel, a clan that hides amongst the dirt. A clan that uses old badger sets to sleep and feed their kits and elders. Would you believe me?
Legend has it that they got wiped out long ago, That they were all slaughtered during the fight for territory amongst the Windclan border. That’s the tale that the elders passed down to the kits for generations, among every known clan there was and is to this day.
But they truly didn't disappear.
