Drool leaked from the corners of his mouth, golden eyes glazed over and hooded. He’s not sure why he’s surprised. Lance knew damn well how hard it can be to keep the shorter man’s attention.
He hummed, swiped a long, slender finger through the cream, and brought it up between their faces. Mash’s eyes followed, still hooded and dazed, but hyper focused. Lance smirked, and quickly smeared the cream down Mash’s face, from brow to the tip of his nose.
Mash’s hand practically appeared around Lance’a wrist, so fast it startled him into flinching his hand at the shear speed of the approach. Almost as fast as Mash had grabbed his wrist, he had dropped open his mouth and popped Lance’s finger into it.

Max took a moment to really look at the dragon. He’d already taken note of the two-toned hair with horns of different colors atop his head. Now, he saw that he had a pair of super cute, pointed ears. And there were no wings sprouting from his back. Ah, so Max hadn’t missed them earlier! They hadn’t been there. His gaze fell to the dragon’s tail. Black scales shined ominously on top, and lovely yellow ones beneath– almost like a glimmer of hope in the darkness. Stunning.
Max was just thinking out loud when he muttered, “You really are a dragon… that’s so…”
The dragon boy flinched then shut his eyes, prepared for the worst. They sprang open again once the shouting began.
“Cool!” Max yelled. He balled his hands into fists and hurried closer to the dragon. Max was far too excited to contain a single thought. “Wow, look at your tail! Do you have fangs? Can I see them? What about claws? Where’d your wings go? Do you like flying? Oh, your eyes are even nicer than I thought they were! They, like, swirl with magic power! Wow!”
