Summary
(I hope) a long fic about the origins of Hogwarts and its first generation of students. No time travels, no golden era characters, just pure founders era.
I don't know how often I'll update this, but I don't want to abandon it in the near future. As a person with attention problems (don't want to self-diagnose adhd) with a looot of things to do, idk when I'll find the time to write, but I'll find it!
I might change hashtags and warnings as I write (tbh idk if I can) because I still don't know where this thing will go.

Summary
Hermione attempts to buy a book, just a normal book, from Borgin and Burke's. Of course as she is negotiating with Borgin when Malfoy steps in and foils her plans.

Now they have to run diagnostics on the books to make sure they won't kill Hermione. Only one of the books has a spell that neither witch or wizard spots before it takes them back. Farther than either could imagine, all the way to Merlin. Who has been waiting for his apprentices to show up.

Back at Hogwarts they have to unravel the mystery and continue their learning that all started in the Forest of Dean. But how can they be seen together when Hermione is seen as the golden girl and Malfoy will always be seen as a death eater. Yet they need to work together, or else the peace they so need will be ruined and Hogwarts will fall.

Centuries ago, the Targaryen family was divided due to two brothers falling in love with the same woman. This love led to her death, causing the brothers to hate each other so deeply that one of them changed his surname to Malfoy. Over time, the hatred between the two families was passed down from generation to generation.
But our story will focus on the illegitimate daughter of a Targaryen and the heir to the Malfoys. Draco Malfoy vowed revenge on the Targaryen family after they killed his parents, who had chosen to renounce the beliefs of their ancestors. As an act of vengeance, Draco decided to use the illegitimate daughter of Daemon and a prostitute.
Daemon kept the girl hidden, as he loved her deeply and was grateful she did not bear the Targaryen features but instead resembled her mother. However, this changed when Daemon’s third wife, Rhaenyra, married him and took the girl to be raised alongside her brothers.

Death adopts Harry. One major sour note in an otherwise happy time was Harry’s past and supposed future hanging over them like a knife. Harry was left damaged beyond repair because of his trauma and his premature death/resurrection. He’s left a bit more...childlike. Death does not mind seeing as he does not fully understand how humans are supposed to age. Of course, he has some...unwanted..help from his “siblings.” Harry and Death are in for a wild ride the second Magic, Life, the Fates, and every once in awhile Time pop into their lives. Poor Dumbledore does not know what hit him as he finds out that Harry took after his adoptive family and is chaotic with no real understanding of normal...or morals. Throw in Merlin and Arthur as babysitters every once in a while and no one is sure if the wizarding world will be standing come Christmas.

And suddenly a thought came to his mind. It was silly, really. Nothing more than a child’s fantasy. Fiction. – Although maybe it was as much fiction as he had once thought magic to be.Or: Harry Potter dies when Voldemort hits him with the killing curse in the forest and meets Death. They tell him he has to make a choice, that he can go back - years back to his first year in Hogwarts, with all his memories intact.
