“It’s okay,” Mignon murmurs, leaning in, and—
Young-One twists in his grasp, turning bodily away. “No, Mignon!”
He can’t. He’s already taken too much. He can’t take this, too. Not again. Mignon doesn’t taste candy-sweet anymore, now that his body has to scrub someone else’s blood instead of making its own, and Young-One hates himself and craves the dark chocolate taste of him in equal measure.

Biting down on the inside of his own cheek seemed to not need any consideration from Mignon—the blood pooling inside his mouth didn’t change that despite its less-than-stellar taste. He actually sort of liked the flavour of it—harsh at first, metallic tang, then sort of savoury. As quickly as that divot below his cheek had appeared indicating his buccal fat was being bit down on by his molars and canine teeth, it was gone. That same bright red fluid that flowed through his veins at what seemed to be lightning speed flowed down the edges of his mouth at that moment, towards his chin and its underside, and he opened his mouth, leaning towards Young-One. A drop of blood hung off by some invisible string or through some kind of bullshit miracle at the underside of his jaw, just below his open, waiting mouth—tempting Young-One, asking for himself to be devoured.
Or, Mignon and Young-One navigate their relationship just as they did in Mignon (민용), growing closer and closer until Young-One sleeps beside him without feeling any of that fear he’d anticipated. For once, there’s nothing to dread.

He turned back around, tearing his eyes away from Mignon’s body sculpted by the hands of god, and walked into the kitchen. Mignon took that as his cue to follow, which made Young-One’s pulse spike for more reasons than one, but he told himself to calm down. He didn’t want Mignon to sense his apprehension and get all annoying like last time, did he? He had to act natural. So he tried to seem unbothered as he went to get himself a glass of water, and was on the verge of asking Mignon if he wanted water as well, before—
“Doc, do you mind if I—”
Mignon had pulled his fridge open, presumably to ask for orange juice, maybe he even wanted cold water, but all he found were several bags of blood. Fuck.
Or, Mignon has a raging crush on Young-One as he undoubtedly will in every lifetime, but finds out about Young-One’s vampirism in an entirely different way after what Young-One believes to be a one-night stand. Of course, it becomes much more, and Young-One falls just as deeply in love as Mignon.
