Summary
The gist of it was this: infiltrate La Puta Madre, get key names, dates and locations, and get out. As if this was an easy task, and not something the RCM had been struggling to achieve successfully for decades.
The Moralintern’s present, Benjamin Setsuna, was a recent addition to the Madre, previously not physically present within the Jamrock locale. La Madre knew a name, that he was Seolite, his necessary business dealings, but had never actually seen the man.
Kim resented that this task had fallen to him, as the precinct’s only high ranking Seolite officer. He had accepted the task, mask carefully in place, but he felt Harry shift angrily next to him at their secondary briefing.

Summary
Pre-Martinaise, Harry had just been dumped by Jean after an ill-advised and toxic affair of six months. Now, as Harry returns to life in Jamrock, Jean is tasked with explaining to his partner what happened between them and who they are to each other — all while reconstituting Harry's task force under the leadership of the 41st's newest lieutenant, Kim.
Kim, Jean and Harry head back to Martinaise after tensions flare between the Union and the RCM, and the three of them work to subvert corporate and Coalition interference in the region while Jean and Harry rediscover their feelings for each other.

Summary
As spring thaws begin to rouse Revachol from its hibernation, a teenage girl is reported missing from a family abode in the Eminent Domain. Trails run cold, and cases pile up. Harry and Kim must grapple with the ups and downs of their newly wrought partnership, the edges of their own pain blurring against that of the city. Tensions build, and the constant pressure of occupation threatens to crush the embers of resistance within Revachol.
Written in alternating POV's, with Harry's chapters being in the style of the gameplay.

“I want to help you, too,” Harry says. “I just have nothing else to give you, besides this. All I have is my body, I destroyed everything else.”
GOD.Something about kissing Jean makes him aware of being meat; just a bag of muscle and fat, blood and sinew, animated by electricity.
Harry can’t help but think of Lely’s head coming apart in this room, in this bed. It would be poetic if he were to be shot in the head right now by some crazed Union element. Lely was happy when he died, and Harry, too, would die happy, or as happy as he gets without chemical interference. Jean’s touch is comforting. It gives him momentary clarity, like a gust of sea air in his face.

“It’s deep, emotional, work husband shit. He’s whipped bad. He might bitch and moan about it, but at the end of the day, he follows that guy around like a dog hoping for scraps.”
“Would you go to Martinaise for me?” Mack asks him.
“Oh, hell no.”
Mack nods, appearing unfazed.

Kim blinks. If by Du Bois he’s referring to Captain Sober Du Bois…

”How so?”
Water-cooler talk. Kim may not be very social at work, but he hears whispers and snickers carried around the office like leaves downstream. Did you hear how Du Bois drank so much he lost his memory? Oh, God, he’s gone on another bender. He’s had three partners resign in as many months. This time he’s on the street screaming about the apocalypse and threatening to blow his brains out.
Agent Kim Kitsuragi in data analysis might be called the record-holder for the Revachol Citizens’ Bureau of Investigation’s least interesting employee. Seemingly out of nowhere, he is assigned to investigate Pale phenomena with Agent Harrier Du Bois, the Bureau’s most infamous paranormal whack job. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
A rising star at the Moralintern turns up dead in Martinaise. The case takes Harry and Kim across the River Esperance to Revachol East, where they investigate megacorp associates from Sur-La-Clef, Coalition bureaucrats, and defunct Dolorian orphanages all while yearning wildly for each other.
Desperate for distractions, Harry chases transient, sexy things like speed and Commodore Red and coked-up party boys who are even bigger walking disasters than he is. Meanwhile, Kim realizes he can't live this way forever. That one day, the loneliness will catch him on a weekend, and kill him before Monday.
The past is approaching, all-consuming. The Pale is all around.

Summary
Trant tends to play both sides of the field- consulting for the RCM and informing for the Moralintern. With the threat of La Retour looming closer year by year, month by month, the Moralintern continues to demonstrate just how little they care. Enough is enough, and Trant decides that, while La Revecholerie may never accept him, he’d rather play for their team than that of the oppressors.
