Dream sighs and shuts his computer down before wandering into their bedroom to retrieve the paddle. On its own, failing to follow through on his promise to record extra scenes is probably enough to earn George a spanking, but his decision to be rude and inconsiderate to their guest pretty much seals the deal in Dream’s mind. George needs to be punished.
When recording the Speedrunner Swap video with Daquavis, George leaves the call the second the Ender dragon dies rather than staying to record extra scenes like he promised. He ignores all of Dream's messages asking him to rejoin the call too. Dream decides he needs to be punished, but also suspects there's something deeper going on under the surface.

“Why don’t you beg him to do more?” Sapnap mumbles, pressing a kiss to the corner of George’s lips. The drag of his stubble against George’s own has his eyes fluttering again, in a different type of hazy headspace he hasn’t been in for a long time.
It’s not quite a subspace, especially since they haven’t worked him up to that, but it’s not not a subspace either. He supposes it must be a mix of that along with feeling tired, like he’s walking along the edge of a subspace, balancing, but he’s teetering side to side like he might fall over if he keeps going.
He doesn’t really want to stop though, nor does he want them to stop. So, with his exhale, he whispers; “Please, Dream. Please.”

George usually tops his boyfriends, or at the very least doms them. But one morning he’s feeling particularly sleepy and needy, so all he really wants is for Dream and Sapnap to make him feel good without him having to do any work. Sapnap had stared at him for at least ten seconds straight. With eyebrows furrowed, completely lost, he waited for more information to be thrown, for George to scale back his dramatization, anything, because Sapnap knows that Dream does not hate George and he expects George to know that too. But George doesn't give anything else, just sits on the end of Sapnap's bed and waits for him to speak. "What are you talking about?"
"Like—" George sighs, almost a scoff, and looks at his fingers. He picks at the loose skin around his nails until he gathers the strength to say what he wants to say. "He doesn't even— he's so touchy with everybody else. Why isn't he like that with me?"
Or, George moves to Florida and doesn't understand why Dream doesn't continue the same dynamic they had before the meet up, or why he isn't as touchy with George as the brunet had hoped.
