Depending on where the story began, it was about a girl who was destined to fall in love with a boy who was destined to die when he was kissed. Depending on where the story began, it was about a boy with a journal and a purpose and a promise. Or a boy faced with revelations. Or a girl who wanted to leave, or a girl who wanted her to stay. A boy who looked intimidating but could only create instead of destroy. A Dreamer prone to nightmares. It could have been about a missing boy, or a murder investigation, or a manic quest for long lost gods. Late night phone calls, or chilly department stores, or Topiscles in summer. Fireworks, or burning cherry blossoms, or unkissable lips that begged for just one peck. A world of yellow and red and blue, or staircases and platforms and catwalks. It could have been about thunder storms or mansions or rivers. Depending on where the story began, it could have been about psychics, or Dreams, or too many deaths for one small town. Depending on where the story began, it was fated to end in tragedy.
AKA The TRC AU that no one asked for but I decided to write.

The Camero’s engine was a riot of sound, tearing holes in the conversation as Luke shifted gears up the cliffs. The headlights lit up dusty brush on the right and glinted dangerously off the guardrail separating them from a catastrophic drop into the Pacific. Julie curled up in the seat, resting her chin on her knees. Luke always looked so solid when he was driving. He swayed and jolted with the car, his body straining against the arguably useless seatbelt as he twisted forward for a clearer view around a turn. It was easy to pretend he would be just as solid if she touched him.

Summary
Being the only non-psychic in a family of psychics isn't the worst thing in the world to Donghyuck, but it might as well be. Having an obnoxious, entitled soulmate obsessed with discovering the tomb of an ancient mythical king doesn't even factor into the equation, truly. Don't even mention how his soulmate is fated to die if they ever kiss, because Donghyuck has already forgotten about it. Seriously, it doesn't even bother him. Really.
Based off of Maggie Stiefvater's 'The Raven Cycle' but it isn't necessary to have read the series to understand.

AU based on The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater (go read it if you haven't, it's great!), starring Keith as Ronan, Lance as Adam, and Shiro as Gansey. I changed stuff from both universes so it would work for me, starting with Keith and Lance as the main couple. (Yes there is Shallura - AU, so alternate sexualities for plot convenience)

Summary
If something is repeated enough, it will eventually lose any sense of meaning. The sharpest knives eventually dull, the sharpest words eventually soften and fade away.
Lily Evans had known since she could toddle over to where her mother and aunts and cousins instructed her to pick a card that when she kissed her true love, he would die.
Perhaps if she had first heard it when she was older, it might have shattered the parts of her heart she had not yet found at age four. But, she heard it when true love seemed as far away as the tropical resorts advertised on the TV they were too poor to go to.
Again and again, Lily hears it, until it seems just as common as her mother telling her to clean her disaster of a room or the clucking of the roosters the neighbors keep. By age seventeen, it seems easy to her: don’t fall in love. She’s never leaving this tiny town, and as she hasn’t even felt a flicker of attraction to any of the idiots at her school, and as a rule, stays away from the snobs at Hogwarts, the all-boys private school, this seems an achievable plan.
Until James Potter finds his way into her life.
