He’s close to the door when the inevitable happens. There’s a spider in his path. He skids to a halt, ready to face off against this menacing arachnid. An imaginary tumbleweed rolls between the two of them, and he can almost feel the stereotypical Mexican standoff music playing. Just as he’s about to deliver his opening line, the one that would make this all seem much more dramatic and tense, the spider turns and scurries back to whatever dark hell it came from. Spoilsport.

Eren Jaeger has been bounced around from foster home to foster home ever since he was three. At twelve years old, he just wants a place to call his own and someone to call family. Levi grew up being taught that humans were the scums of the universe and that all children deserved to be miserable. His past horrible deeds finally catching up with him, he finds that he has no choice but to push those teachings aside and become the fairy godparent to a miserable little brat.
As the duo grows up together, Eren maturing and aging with Levi right by his side as he enters the adult world, Levi eventually finds himself not only caring, but falling for the kid. And that was definitely NOT apart of this whole 'Fairy Godparent' deal...
