There is a gala tonight, and however much Dick has tried, all of Tim's suits just felt... wrong. He knows what he wants, the soft swish of a long skirt around his ankles is all he truly longs for.
But with just a few remaining hours until the gala, he has to both still ask Bruce, and even if he agrees, surely they will not have enough time to actually get a dress that fits him perfectly?Except Tim forgets, A) he is talking to Batman, who can do anything and B) he is talking to his dad, who will do anything (if its for his kids at least).

Tim is nonbinary, but no one knows it. Their loved ones think that they're a binary trans guy, and strangers don't even know that they're trans at all. After all, they couldn't stand pretending to be a girl, but pretending to be the other binary gender is less awful for them at least, right? Only it's getting harder for them to hide their nonbinary identity. How much longer can they hide this huge part of themself? And what will happen if they can't hide it anymore?
Damian shows up on Tim's doorstep with a dozen red roses and his heart of his sleeve. When he confesses to them, Tim realizes that they like him back but wonders, what would people think if they found out that the the two of them were dating? They don't share blood and didn't grow up together, but they're technically adoptive brothers, and Damian just turned 18 yesterday (Tim is almost 22).
A lot of change is happening in Tim's life at once, and they wonder if maybe not all secrets are meant to be kept.
