Summary
There are pros and cons to being shipped off to Nevermore. The Pros— she'll finally be going to school with people who aren't put off by a bit of carnage which means she might actually enjoy being there. Hell, she might even make a few friends or go on a date just to see what the fuss is about. The Cons— being sent to Nevermore out of all the outcast schools in America means she's trapped under the weight of her parents' own time there. It's a blatant attempt to get her to follow in her mother's footsteps, one Wednesday refuses to fall prey to.
Of course, that doesn't mean she can't find a way to thread the needle and get the best of both worlds. Wednesday is criminally clever, if anyone can find a way to vivisect the Teen Experience™ and spite their mother's expectations at the same time it's her. The serial murder investigation is really just icing on the poisoned cake.

The characters are aged up and in University (well, except Wednesday, who is finishing high school but is doing University simultaniously), which I found to work better with my darker concept. She's creepy, she's kooky, but she does care very deeply about her girlfriend, even if Enid could be rather infuriating at times. And as infuriating as the werewolf could be, nauseatingly sweet, she'd become a part of Enid's pack.

After growing closer ever since the Rave'N, Wednesday arrives to the dorm to find Enid has left her a gift. A very specific gift, one meant to start a courtship with an Addams. Wednesday accepts her fate, knowing the curse has already sunk its claws into her heart, so she decides she will do all she can do show Enid that she will be a perfect candidate for the werewolf's mate.
Enid, on the other hand, had simply given a gift to bring Wednesday into her personal pack. She'd gifted others, so what if her gift to Wednesday was incredibly thought out and researched. Just because she wanted it to be perfect didn't mean anything! The fact that her wolf instincts had preened at her choice just meant it was a good idea, right?

Enid Sinclair is getting married.
To Ajax Petropolus, of all people.
Wednesday Addams wants to throttle her, or cry, or maybe both, but they will do none of the above. They will simply attend their former best friend's wedding and muster up the appropriate congratulations expected of them, then return home and drown themself in alcohol. A foolproof plan.
Luckily for them both, they are both exorbant fools, and neither of them ever stopped loving one another; they were just too oblivious to notice. Pugsley, Eugene, and Enid's brother Eitan seek to rectify this.

Summary
Recounting the facts - Wednesday is quiet, intense, almost intimidating. She is also most likely aware that she is being analysed right back, careful not to give anything away. She is distrusting, uncomfortable, and in all honesty? Vulnerable. More so than she would like to be, and more so than she knows. This much is clear by the betraying hammering in her chest echoing the werewolf’s own.
This is all sensitive knowledge, not Enid’s to have, but not particularly hard to piece together. Anything beyond this, will most definitely be a task to uncover. No better time to start than now, she supposes.
