In the middle of an ordinary business day, an Elsen wakes up, witnesses the end of their world, and wakes up again.
They have no idea what to make of it.
The Judge offers advice. The Queen calls them into service as an agent against the End. The Batter is both an enemy and a friend, and that line gets blurrier with every successive game. But the more the Elsen discovers about their world, the more their efforts to change it seem futile. What can one office worker with overwhelming anxiety do, really, against a system coded for tragedy?
