A collection of one-shots set over the course of SkekVar and his Emperor's relationship.
SkekVar is a soldier, he understands that his courtship of the Emperor is a siege not a battle. Nothing will be decided decisively, it is not a battle of force or numbers, it is a slow, painful wearing down of the enemies resistance.
The Emperor does not harbour any particular affections for his General, not at all. Nope. No favouritism, no preferential treatment. He doesn't care for SkekVar at all. -

Multiple chapters are yet to come.
The truth has been exposed. A new gang of Gelfling will have the quest upon their hands, a new change, a new age, the Age of Resistance. Rian, Gurjin, And Kable(members of the guard) will team up and alert the following ten clans of the Skeksis crimes. Along with that, challenging moments, new friends and perhaps old friends… and a mixture of possibly Love relationships. Other influential Gelfling tied to this resistance are Deet and Amri of grot, Brea of Vapra, Chidobe of Ub’Jan, Naia of Drenchen, Toolah of Christen, and Malia of Dousan, and of course Noble Hup. These Gelfling or group…that has yet to come, will change their lives and many other lives on thra.
I will make this a series, not just a short ten chapter fan fic.

But, when Ordon decides to start Rian's sword training early, they may find a way to connect with each other and bond as father and son. -

His best friend strives to prove his innocence, a princess is determined to find the truth, and a stranger from Grot believes in him. Together, they may be able to save, not only Rian's life, but the lives of all gefling.

Summary
Brea expected her first Seven Clans Summit would be nothing more than a wonderful chance to expand her knowledge. She never imagined it could bring so much romantic drama with it. After chance encounter before the Welcome Ball, Deet, Brea's very close friend, falls quickly and deeply in love with the Stonewood warrior, Rian.
Though they seem the perfect match, it does come with some drawbacks, such as Seledon constantly meddling in the name of improved inter-clan relations, or Brea needing to entertain Rian's insufferable friend, Rek'yr, so the couple can spend time alone. Brea feels it is worth it to see her friend so happy, even if Rek'yr won't stop looking at her so strangely.
However, things may not be going as well as they appear. Emotions swell, hearts threaten to break, and poor first impressions leave their mark. But, if pride can be set aside and prejudices overcome, perhaps this tangled mess can lead to a happy ending after all.
