Summary
"Azure Moon" is my adaptation of the main storyline from MTaS and was inspired by the beautiful story Pathea created. Focusing mainly on the evolution of my Builder ("you") and Logan's relationship, it will also provide additional context to the story as a whole through both canon and head canon events. Everything in this series will be heavily laced with canon concepts and dialogue, so be on the look out for those portions!

I often find myself craving more in games like this and as a result, my imagination tends to run wild. Wanting to have an outlet for my ideas, I decided to create "Azure Moon". I have been so happy to hear from the kind folks who have taken the time to read through them. I also thank those who encouraged me to do this and have shown an abundance of support. It truly means more than you know.

What's going on? How does she deal with life as the builder now, knowing that to her, this isn't real. It can't be... right? -

Logan is dangerous. Plaques warning visitors and townfolk alike of the hostile and brutal nature of the bandits, headed by Logan, were littered all over Sandrock and the outlying villages. She was instructed to heed the advice and be vigilant.
The day the water tower fell, the figure jumped the train tracks, narrowly missed the train, and stopped to rear-up his goat in front of her workshop. “Logan.” Turning, their eyes met, and for a split second, time stood still. Sadness and compassion behind them. She let him go.
In a cruel turn of events, she was separated from Justice and Unsuur, on their quest to follow Rambo into Logan’s hideout. Inside: Navigating a series of puzzles with real deadly consequences. Succeeding only to be met by Haru and his machines. Exhausted and beaten she faces Logan. He attacks her. Defending herself, crosses his daggers with her blade. It was a dance, slowly timed and beautifully fluid, with sharp objects. His strength she matched with cunning and precision. Neither of them was willing to yield. Grace intervenes. The fight ends. It was just the beginning.
Discovered layers of deception and misinformation. Seeking answers may culminate in unexpected avenues of friendships and love.-

Staying true to our whirlwind, slow burn romance, we continue following you and Logan's evolving love story; however, a misunderstanding caused by the visit from Commander Avery leads the two of you in a new direction, one that challenges you both as you begin to grapple with the less dire reality of living your normal lives. Exploring the immense pressures of being the person at the center of it all, we deep dive into the Builder's responsibility and sense of duty to those around her. Your friendship with Logan is quickly blossoming into something more, though now that he's back and is making amends for his time away, you find yourselves being pulled down different paths. Struggling with the distance that you protectively foster for the sake of each other, we ask this question of our lovelorn duo: will things ever be the same? ⊹ As a small preview into the work, we kick things off at the climax of the Duvos conflict and end with Cornered Beasts (hint hint!). I present my version of this pivotal mission, one heavily laced with canon and head canon dialogue. ⊹ Though you seem to start off on the wrong foot, as the night wears on, you and Logan share some incredibly sweet moments that ultimately lay the foundation for your undeniably strong partnership (see the work tags for a spoiler!). ⊹ In the spirit of full transparency, I aimed to create a more in-depth version of the Builder's introduction ("you") to the gang and how their individual friendships come to fruition. I also strive to answer a few burning questions: how and why does Logan trust you so deeply and what did he think about that first spark you shared after the Water Tower incident? ⊹ I'll leave it there and let you dive into their slow burn, budding romance. I posted this ages ago on the MTaS/MTaE subreddits, but in lieu of joining AO3 to post additional work (and after a heavy round of editing to make it worthy) I decided to share it here as well. ⊹ This short story was inspired by the lore given to us when we reached the Kickstarter goal to bring Logan to Evershine (project update #8 for reference). I felt like sharing my take on how a "married Logan" would've responded to the challenge of taking down the S class beast known as "the Red-eye" given that Jasmine's account felt more like a "single Logan" perspective to me. ⊹ If you haven't read the original, I highly recommend it.
