Xisuma walks out and immediately trips, falling into something sticky about a foot and a half off his floor.
He tries to get up, but he can’t move, his limbs are stuck to the sticky white thread below him.
His breathing picks up as he panics, heart racing, adrenalin pumping.
He doesn't know what’s happening and his body is falling into fight for flight, his chest rising and falling rapidly, the air whooshing in and out of his helmet’s filters as he tries to get out of whatever has him stuck.
There are hands on his body, moving him.
The hands move him so he is lying face up and Xisuma’s purple eyes rapidly move around, trying to find who or what moved him.
“Hey X, sorry about that.” Wels says.
Xisuma calms down slowly.

He was so tired. His eyes hurt and his movements were sluggish. The lines of code were beginning to blur together into a meaningless pattern of black and white. Even when he could see the words it was hard to piece together their meanings. He’d been reading for so long that some words were beginning to look like random series of symbols rather than actual words.

It seemed like everybody who was playing in MCC 20, but also everyone who was watching, had been transported to survival games. He knew how many viewers there were for some people in particular, so it was no shock that he was stranded in a sea of people.
