Cavit Ro Voyager Alternate Retelling (Season One) by ApostropheN
Fandom: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager
31 Oct 2021
Summary
A re-telling of Star Trek: Voyager's first season with two major changes: First, the Voyager senior crew who survived the trip to the Delta Quadrant is reversed, leaving Commander Cavit, Lieutenant Stadi, Doctor Fitzgerald, Lieutenant Honigsberg, and the unseen chief science officer (Zandra Taitt, from Star Trek: The Next Generation) alive, but leaving the crew without Captain Janeway, Tom Paris, or Harry Kim. Second, the Maquis ship pulled into the Delta Quadrant wasn't Chakotay's, but rather a newly-"acquired" Maquis ship, captained by the former Lieutenant Ro and a different group of Maquis. There are a few original characters, mostly based on background characters who were barely there (the other Ocampa in Daggin's garden), but for the most part, every name otherwise is from Trek canon, albeit some of it very, very bare-bones, like Okudagrams or "mentioned in dialog."
Continued in the Season Two series, here.

Summary
A retelling of Star Trek Voyager.
First, the Voyager senior crew survived the trip to the Delta Quadrant reversed, leaving Commander Cavit, Lieutenant Stadi, Doctor Fitzgerald, Lieutenant Honigsberg, and the unseen chief science officer Samantha Wildeman alive, but leaving the crew without Captain Janeway, Tom Paris, Harry Kim, and Joe Carey.Second, the Maquis ship pulled into the Delta Quadrant wasn't Chakotay's, but rather my own characters but with a few from the original...like B'Elanna Torres or Mike Ayala.
Season one's major differences, beyond having an entirely different Maquis ship, include having five Ocampa (Kes plus Daggin plus three others from his garden) Join Voyager, but Neelix does not, and the crew becoming away of the Caretaker having brought another Fredautraion, a Cardassian ship, and a Vulcan ship to the Delta Quadrant before they leave the Ocampa homeworld.
