Li Zhao Yu, aka Iso just moved to the city. Caught in a storm he finds himself waiting it out in an aquarium. He didn't expect anything from this, but he left the place with a new friend. A certain green haired guy became the one to make Iso's day better, but not only his day, maybe his whole life. After their first meeting, Iso's mind is filled with the image of his new friend, perhaps his feeling will overtake him until he can't hold it in longer.
Iso and Gekko (Matteo in the fic) meet by accident, become friends, and the rest is history.
I wrote this for pure fun, my writing skills are like below average, pls don't expect anything great from this

“Fuck, Iso, what did you do?” Phoenix muttered as he pressed onto the bleeding wound of the man in front of him.
The air in the concrete maintenance tunnel was thick with the acidic scent of scorched earth and fresh, hot blood. Phoenix, jacket discarded and sleeves rolled, was leaning almost his full weight onto the makeshift dressing—a ripped-up section of Iso’s own combat harness—trying desperately to stem the furious arterial pump. Iso was slumped against a stack of crates, his head lolling slightly.
From the corner of his eyes, Phoenix could see Chamber, immaculate even in a crisis, directing Yoru on what the Japanese assassin should do while he could see Omen on the shadows standing guard.
“Clear the immediate radius and verify the extraction route viability, monsieur. Quickly,” Chamber’s voice was low, smooth, and dangerously calm, contrasting sharply with the frantic wheezing of Phoenix’s own breath.
Yoru grunted an acknowledgement, his form shimmering as he melted into a dimensional rift down the tunnel.

The man flicked his gaze up from Ryo’s hands, the molten gold of his eyes piercing in a way that had Ryo’s breath hitching slightly, feeling like a deer under headlights. It only got worse when the man smiled at him, waved, and then continued to watch him instead of moving on like a normal person who’d been caught staring. It made Ryo feel oddly self-conscious in a way he hadn’t felt for years.
What was wrong with this guy? Was watching a guy slapping dough around really that interesting, or was he going through a midlife crisis where an abrupt change in career became strangely appealing? Either way, Ryo felt unsettled as he worked, as he felt those bewitching eyes trail over his arms and hands, so carefully watching his every move. He felt seen in a way he hadn’t felt in years, and the feeling frightened him more than anything else.

After a rebel group of Kingdom workers captured Phoenix on an seemingly trouble-free mission, things quickly went awry. Used as ransom, Phoenix was painfully aware of his place among humans. He was less than a thing, and Kingdom was very happy to remind him of that, because old grievances are not forgotten and the past somehow always catches up with Phoenix - as if to remind him that even though he survived, his life is not his.
And as Phoenix once heard, the best way to destroy relationships is from within. Kingdom probably heard that too.

I had so much fun writing the original story that I wanted to do it again. Same vibes, different trauma. We have one character replacement and the introduction of Sudsy (and he is a delight). They all regret their teasing last year when they experienced one another's trauma in the worst ways possible, and the humbling is life changing. Phoenix begged to be a part of the drama, and he's getting exactly what he asked for. This can be read without reading part one, but I highly suggest reading part 1 for context and laughs.
