Trucy (chapter 8+) loses her whole family and gains another, weirder one.
For Phoenix, Edgeworth and Trucy, taking care of each other is rotten work but by god they’re going to do it.

Miles sat beside him then, placing a stack of paper folders on the table before them. Before he reached for one however, and much to Phoenix’s dismay, he shifted to adjust his glasses once again. Yet, somehow it was worse; he briefly removed them and gave his head a shake, jostling his grey bangs about. And as much as Phoenix tried not to stare, he found himself transfixed, as if the simple movement was transpiring in slow motion.
He gripped at his slacks with both hands, curling his fingers into the blue fabric. His jaw clenched impossibly tighter, his facial muscles likely popping from his skin. But all that tension didn’t come even remotely close to besting that of below. He was in deep, deep trouble.
Amidst a whirlwind of change, Miles finally gets his glasses. And while Phoenix frets over the strength of his reaction, he's reminded just how mutual the adoration is.
