They’re alive, much to the duo’s joy– but they certainly haven’t forgiven Al-An for his little oopsie daisy. Kicked off the planet and sentenced to five years in a human body, Al-An has entrusted his life to Robin again, and inadvertently his feelings, which are as fragile as ever.
It’d be a mighty shame if Robin introduced the concept of love to him. Wouldn’t that be dangerous?

Summary

The Aurora had a crew of 157.
It only had enough lifepods to carry 100
The Starboard pods were destroyed by the initial blast, none launched.
25 pods successfully launched from the Broadside bay.
10 would land in the raised volcanic area, the rest either burning up in the atmosphere, being crushed by the Aurora or landing in the void.
Only 2 successfully deployed their flotation devices, the others would sink to the ocean floor, no matter how deep.
Within 8 hours of planetfall there was only one survivor.

Gavin Reed did not board a giant spaceship to do anything other than act as the head of security and maybe play around in the anti-gravity chambers every now and then. Crashing on a new planet was never on the itinerary, nor is scavenging said (abandoned? to be determined) planet in an effort to survive against a foreign waterborne virus on a world that is entirely covered by fucking water.
