My take to Jon Snow was raised in Essos.
After his death in Meereen in service of his Queen and aunt Jon is raised from the dead by the high priestess of the Red God, with the veil of life gone from his eyes he is not blind anymore and what before was but a feeling starts to take form. His aunt is not who she made him believe she was, who she wants everyone to believe, who she herself believes herself to be. As he follows her west to conquer the Iron throne more problems add up to their already problematic and deteriorating relationship.
A brother he hadn't dared to believe might want him or accept him.
A family in the North he had been told had shunned him at his birth.Can he face the choices he will have to make with the dead marching on them from beyond the Wall, can he find belonging and peace with the red-headed girl-queen he has been dreaming about?, with the family that choses him and the war for the Iron throne looming putting all he cares for at risk?
Can the pack heal him, can family heal? Can he help them heal? To what length are you ready to go to protect those you love?

Viserys finding him was a flick of luck, silver hair hidden under dirt and tears. Purple eyes found purple eyes and Viserys could only thank the gods that he had decided to accompany Ser Willem to this sketchy whorehouse, otherwise his nephew would have been lost.
"Wha’ your name?" Almost four year old Danny asked.
"I have no name." The boy slowly answered, breaking Viserys heart.
The prince of the seven kingdoms was too young to remember their home, being a little older than Danny when the usurper killed Rhaegar. That he had survived was a miracle. That the knights that were supposed to protect him had abandoned him was a sin, that they had refused to name the boy for his real name (maybe even teaching him to refuse his origins) was even worse, even if it was understandable.
If the usurper wanted to kill him and Danny, he would desire Aegon’s death even more.
“Your name is Rhae.” Viserys informed him, “I’m Viserys, your… brother. She’s Danny, our little sister.”
The boy blinked at him, confusion evident in his face. “...we are?”
“Yes.” Viserys nodded firmly, “We’re a family. And from now on, we will be together. I won’t let anyone hurt you again, I will protect both of you.” -
