Loving someone with a perpetual existential crisis is not easy; not for either parties. The days can blend together in a pattern of predictable shapes and leave a stagnant, bland taste in one's mouth. Sun rarely shines through those thick clouds, but when it does; it is beyond beautiful. It is achingly glorious and the warmth of those rays makes the rain worth it.
To know there is a chance for better...it is worth every heavy drop of rain. Every night laid in silence and frantic speculation to the validity of living is justified on those sunny days.
