Summary
Rochelle, Ellis, Coach, and Nick arrive AFTER the Vannah Hotel burns, and without the helicopter and graffiti to guide them they take a different path on their search for rescue. The apocalypse brought them together, and it may just tear them apart again... or, to pieces.
Character development and plot-heavy, Blind Man's Bluff has a primary focus on the Nick/Ellis pairing while spanning the full breadth of an alternate campaign route.

Summary
When Nick and Rochelle instead meet for the first time the night before the evacuation attempt at the Vannah, their worlds collide unexpectedly. Nick just wants to forget an embarrassing night. While all Rochelle wants is to make it up to the man she kissed and ran from.
If there is one thing Nick and Rochelle seem to agree on though, it's that caring about someone else in the middle of the apocalypse is a dangerous game to play. Between a conman that only listens to his gut, and a reporter that only listens to her mind the odds of them gambling with their hearts are slim to none.
(A story in which Nick actually receives his infamous hickey from Rochelle the night before everything falls apart, and things only get more complicated from there.)
[OOC and non-canon elements are used to expand and flesh out motivations/backstories.]

Summary
In 1890s America, the R. Coleman gang is on the run after the law finally catches up to them in the dusty town of Calico Bluffs. Barely escaping with their lives, they stumble into Willowford — a middle-of-nowhere town.
All Nick wants is to sell a stolen horse and drink himself halfway to death. Then he meets Ellis — a stable hand with a quick mouth.
Ellis sees through Nick like a window and doesn’t trust a word he says. Nick doesn’t trust anyone who still believes there’s good left in the world.
There’s no safe place left in the West — but maybe, if they’re lucky, they can carve one out for themselves.

It's very hard to beat out the Infected in the crazy department which is why it takes Ellis a while to realize there are stranger things in the world than flesh eating zombies.

Bookmark Notes:
Interesting take on Left 4 Dead 2 where Ellis, resident cloudcuckoolander, is actually the only sane one and comes to realize they're in a video game. Notable for going beyond a time-loop scenario and introducing UI spoilers to Ellis.
Plot spoilers:
Ellis develops feelings for Nick, and after three years of living the L4D2 campaigns, Nick lets slip that he also remembers. Coach and Rochelle are hinted to eventually gain consciousness of their video game existence as well.

“Coach, you got a shotgun?” Nick asks.
“Aw hell nah,” Coach immediately protests. He knows what Nick’s thinking. “That shit is way too stupid.”
“I’m not asking you to do it. Let me borrow it.”

"What, you want a 'goodnight' too?" "No! Youre hoggin' all the blanket!" Nick turned slightly to look at him with one eye, "You have plenty of blanket! Its not even that cold anyways." "Yes it is, it's raining cats and dogs out there man!" He makes a good point but he'd never tell him that, of course.

Too many thoughts run through her mind. Memories, worries, the future, survival. Sometimes she just needs a gentle touch and another warm body to slow her mind. -

Summary
Nick just got out of prison-- well, the zombie apocalypse let him out. Now, thrust into the arms of three strangers, he has to learn how to trust them, or die in the process.
It doesn't help that one of them is the sweetest peach in all of Georgia.
**Canon re-hash with a twist using Nick's intended backstory for the game, before they changed him into a gambler. My own take on the campaigns with added material and a whole lot more toxic yaoi**

Tied down to a zombie ridden city, living and staying alive are the least of the jaded and swarming concerns that go on within your mind. No. Protecting, is your TOP and utter most important priority. No matter which side it's on.

Summary
In a desolate world overrun by horrors, four survivors stumble upon an untouched laundromat—a fleeting oasis of mundane normalcy.
As they seize the rare chance to wash bloodstained clothes and mend frayed spirits, they confront memories, vulnerabilities, and the haunting question of what humanity means when survival demands its erosion.
But in a place where soap pods glow like treasures and laughter echoes off rusted dryers, even temporary peace risks interruption by the terrors outside.

Summary
In a desolate world overrun by the Infected, four survivors take refuge in a decaying farmhouse surrounded by skeletal cornfields.
As they scavenge expired canned goods and bicker over makeshift gumbo, tensions and camaraderie collide.
Amidst the rot and rust, a faint radio broadcast breathes fleeting life into their fractured hope, forcing them to confront what they cling to—and what they’ve left behind.
