Summary
In a hidden, authoritarian city called Homeworld, a brutal regime led by three powerful women known only as White, Yellow, and Blue Diamond.
In Homeworld, there is White Pearl, a young 23-year-old woman who has known no life outside of submission. Taken as a child and raised in near-total isolation under White Diamond, she has endured the trauma of being loved, used, and worshipped in equal measure. Alongside her were Blue and Yellow Pearl, her closest companions, more like sisters than friends.
But everything changes when Garnet, a 25-year-old fighter bred in the pits of Homeworld, makes a snap decision: she breaks rank, kidnaps White Pearl during a chaotic escape, and flees with her found family—Ruby, her retired fighter mother; Sapphire, her calm and clairvoyant doctor mother; Rose, an ethereal rebel with dreams of a normal life; and a young Amethyst, who has no past or future in Homeworld. Pearl is stunned, grieving, and confused. She clings to what she was taught: men are unclean, women are divine, and Diamonds are everything.

A Rose Survives Au based off some old comics of mine.
Rose creates a new gemstone for Steven so they can both exist (though she tried to make a rose quartz when steven is born it is revealed she created another pink diamond).
The Gems find out, and Rose is chased off Earth back to Homeworld. Pearl follows shortly after.
Follow Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Mocha Pearl (a Pearl who fled to earth after hearing about how the Crystal gems successfully scared off a diamond and took one for their own) as they try and protect Earth from the diamonds and their former leader.
(I have no proofreader so excuse any errors, I do try and catch them lol)

This AU begins after the events of A Single Pale Rose. The events of Now we're only falling apart have changed. Ruby never left before Sapphire returned and the Diamonds never appeared on the day that would have been Ruby and Sapphire's wedding. Steven learns more about the Gem Empire's History on Earth and other planets in the Galaxy. This AU will explore other aliens, other characters going their own way to go on their own adventures and also the origin of the gem race.

Hey everyone, this is one of my first stories on Archive of our own, I've written other stories on other platforms so I have some experience. I made this cause I love Steven universe, and wanted to continue practicing my writing.
That being said, grammatical errors will always be kept to a minimum and I'll always be trying out new things with this story.
Originally I planned on starting at future and making it short, but I'm stubborn and decided to start at the beginning. I love long and well fleshed out stories, so I hope I can accomplish that with this one.Thanks for reading❤️
