This work was heavily inspired by "Beauty and Beasts," a ao3 story by Arracon515. This is an alternate universe where there is no Salem but Beacon was attacked by crazy people eager for mayhem so that our hero's could be separated. Also, Ruby and Yang are sisters of the same age, lets just say their moms got pregnant at the same time, mostly because I wanted them both to be 18 or over. I have a few ideas, but basically this is just some characters overtaken by Grimm. Enjoy?
