Summary
Five Pebbles spent an incomprehensible amount of cycles alone with the rot inside of his body. The feeling of being eaten alive was his company for a long long time and even when he was granted the ability to free himself from his Can and reunite with those he cared about, the journey was full of its own pains.
His body, or at least what's left of it, has finally been allowed to heal. He should be relieved-
Instead, he feels untethered and broken in its absence. He isn't able to think or stop himself until he is discovered with ichor-stained clothing.
aka- A one-chapter fic (that could be expanded if ppl want to see it) that I wrote on a plane ride almost a year ago after thinking too much about how much it would fuck someone up to be in constant and horrible pain for the centuries Pebbles might have been that I reread, realized I still liked, and am now forcing my brain to let me post.
