Luffy finally cracks his eyes open. He watches Sanji continue rubbing soothing circles on his forehead like a predator would its prey. Still, Sanji stays strong. Continues what he was doing.
A smile unfurls on Luffy's lips, lazy and smug. Like he knew something Sanji didn't. When the blonde glares at him, Luffy simply grins back sunnily.

Zoro's Luffy didn't look this young. Not anymore. He wondered how much Luffy had changed. Had the use of his Devil Fruit caught up to him? Would Zoro recognize him if he ever saw him again?

His green hair might have been a giveaway, but sometimes - on the rare occasions he got the courage to - Zoro would look in the mirror and not recognize himself.
Nineteen. This was how Zoro remembered Luffy. Nineteen. Not the King of the Pirates. Not the silent presence in the background as his nakama rejected him. Zoro remembered the laughing nineteen-year-old who laid with him on the deck. Zoro remembered the seventeen-year-old who cut him down from a cross. The man who freed him. The man who believed in him.
Zoro always wanted Luffy to be nineteen.

“What?” Zoro redirects, “wait, I thought you wanted me to win?”
“Oh I did,” the Prince snorts, a crook of a smile on his lips. “Judge was furious that a common pirate took his fancy tournament by storm.”
Zoro doesn’t reply, trying to consolidate the nervous omega he’d seen at breakfast with the spitfire that stood before him now.
Sanji takes another slow draw of his cigarette and then snarls, pulling himself to his full height and adjusting his stance to one of offense, one foot sliding back in a practiced move for balance. “I’ll have you know that it’s not just the strength of his heirs that necessitates a tournament of strength for my intimacy,” he smirks. “For all his talk about the weakness of omegas, Judge has sent many an alpha to my chambers before,” the blond explains harshly, his eye blazing. “They have never returned successful, or intact.”
Oh.
So that’s where the two sides converged.
The omega could fight.

Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

“You’re fucking impossible,” Zoro says through gritted teeth, feeling Sanji get into his space, body pressed against his, and lips ghosting his. His hand balled up in Sanji’s shirt grips harder and he doesn’t know if it’s to push him back or pull him closer.
“Pot calling the kettle black dickhead,” Sanji points out with an irritating smile, that makes Zoro’s blood simmer. He’s so fucking cavalier and Zoro can’t stand it.
“Fuck this,” Zoro mutters, and he makes a split decision.
“Giving up, shitty Mari—“ Sanji’s cut off as Zoro crashes his lips to his.
Sanji takes a hit meant for Zoro in a fight and Zoro is not pleased.

“Don’t say it like that,” Jozu huffed, watching Luffy and Sanji spar on the beach below, “We know you’re gonna be mopey when they head back out too.”

Fourth Division latched on to Sanji like barnacles and refused to let go, and the rest of the crew was barely better. Deuce adored seeing his brother snark and laugh with the family that had given Deuce so much already.Luffy was just so… Luffy that no one in the crew stood a chance. Ace snickered out many ‘I told you so’s’ for not believing him about what a force of nature his brother was. He was unpredictable, one minute up on Pop’s chair demanding stories, the next napping with Stefan on the deck, and the next getting kicked out of the kitchen by Sanji for trying to break into the fridges.
It was almost funny to see how easily they charmed their way with the ranks without really trying, the crew welcoming their new baby brothers without a thought, even when they all knew the reason they were on the Moby was temporary.

Just then, Sanji appeared, knocking the platter in his hand into Deuce’s head before setting it down, careful not to spill anything, “Stop fucking with them, it’s time to eat.”“OW!” He whined despite the hit not hurting, “So rude to me, little brother.”
“I’ll show you rude,” Sanji snarked with an eye roll, “I don’t need you freaking them out with nonsense so much they can’t get their food.”
“So,” Haruta drew out, eyes flashing between the two of them, “He was lying?”
Sanji scrunched his nose slightly, “Well, definitely about the not having to brush his teeth part, and the not knowing what baby teeth are thing. I know I had baby teeth, but I had way fewer mutations...”
Deuce shrugged at the scandalized looks, batting his eyelashes in the same manner Ace did when he really felt like being a little shit, “Fucking with you all is a fun application of my free will. As for if I had baby teeth, that’s for me to know and you all to stay up at night wondering.”
Ace laughed, slapping Luffy’s hands away from the platter as he grabbed his own portion, “Eh, still not as weird as Luffy is with his teeth.”
Sanji nodded with a resigned look in his eyes, “Oh yeah, that’s true.”
“I hate to ask,” Marco started with an exasperated sigh, “But what do you mean by that -yoi?”
“Hey, Lu,” Ace said, drawing Luffy’s attention away from the food momentarily, “Tell them what you do when you lose teeth.”
“Huh?” He said through his mouthful before swallowing, “If I lose teeth, I just drink some milk and they come back.”
The baffled shouts did nothing to distract the young captain from the food, forcing everyone to abandon the conversation in favor of saving their own portions from greedy rubber hands
