Summary
After the fight with Lilith, Alec, Magnus and Jace find themselves in an alternate universe where the battle against demons was won centuries ago. Clary and Jace's previous visit to that realm seems to have triggered a resurgence of magic, and with it, a new wave of demonic attacks targeting Nephilim.
While Alec just wants to go home and curl up with Magnus, and possibly sleep for the next three days, he can't simply ignore the fact that the Nephilim from this dimension has been brought up as mundanes. They've only recently came to know about their Shadowhunter heritage, courtesy of Magnus' counterpart, and are hardly prepared enough to defend themselves and their world from the rising demon threat.
