“Telamon?” he echoed with a faint snort. “You mean the songbird himself?”
“Bones may ache but hearts still mend,” he started, voice clear as the river water his feet was soaked in. He threw a hand toward his father dramatically. “Don’t give me a kiss- just your hand, my friend!”
The little boy’s squeaky voice cracked halfway through, but the silly boy kept going.
“so’round and ’round this world I roam,” the boy went on, spinning again until his laughter drowned the next line. “For little joys that feel like…”
