Summary
Well Met is a FANTASTIC romantic comedy book by Jen DeLuca. Set at a small town renaissance faire, the book follows the budding romance between uptight Simon Graham and lost-her-way Emily Parker. It's become a series and has three sequels following other characters, but I am OBSESSED with the first book, and cannot believe there is no fanfiction for it. This is actually the very first piece of fanfiction I ever wrote, over a year before I started writing Bridgerton/Polin fic.
This particular fic creates a Chapter One for Well Met, but from Simon's perspective instead of Emily's (the original book is completely from Emily's POV). Some of the dialogue does come straight from the original book (basically any of the dialogue between Simon and Emily), but the majority of this is stuff that would have happened "offscreen" from the actual book's chapter one.
