Unable to tell him no, she nodded, biting her lip to keep tears from spilling onto her cheeks. "I will find you," he vowed, bowing his head and pressing his warm lips to the tops of her hands.
"I will not lose you again." She told him with a shaking voice.
Looking up into her face, tracing the freckles he adored and ignoring the horrible sinking feeling in his chest, he nodded.
"Never again."
But she never would see him again, and the memory would fade, until evil awoke from her slumber.

he night they died, the night Hyunjin was supposed to die along with them, was two weeks into their third year of college. They were all high or drunk in some capacity, and Changbin's old car barely fit the eight of them. Hyunjin had been sitting in between the backseat and the front seat, underneath Felix's feet while Felix pets his hair lovingly.
The only reason why Hyunjin survived that crash was because Jeongin, who was sitting next to Felix, and Felix in their dying moments, had grabbed Hyunjin before he could get hurt and protected him somehow.
Or, Time can heal everything, but time can't heal the world taking the only people who have ever loved Hyunjin away from him.
