Summary
Bee Bumblington quit his job in a spectacular fashion with no real plan in place. With no money and no desire to stay in the city, he remembers the letter his Grandpa sent just before he died. Grandpa Jack left him everything, as expected, and it was time for Bee to confront his complicated past. He was moving back home.
Moonshore Farm sat a little ways away from Pelican Town, a tiny and sparsely populated area with a whole lot of personality. The run down farm was his last lifeline, now he must learn the tricks of the trade and traverse the tricky relationships within the small town. Meeting old friends, making new ones and falling in love with the broody man with a lifelong grudge against him, not one day is the same at Moonshore Farm.

Moving is scary. It always has been for Makoto. He was afraid when he moved to the city for university, afraid when he moved again for work… and now that he’s moving to the middle of nowhere, to the quaint little town he’s only visited a few times in his life, he’s not just afraid, in fact, he’s terrified.
He and Komaru’s grandparents owned a farm out on the southern coast before they passed on. First, it was their grandmother a few years ago, and now their grandfather just last month… there was nobody left to take care of the place. So the Naegi siblings stepped up.
And they’re on their way there now.
The purr of the engine is the only thing louder than Makoto’s own heartbeat in his ears. Komaru is driving the car, and since they got back on the road this morning, neither of them have said a word to each other. (It was a long trip; they were coming from the midwest, after all. They were bound to make a few pit stops, and neither one of them were particularly keen on driving all night.)
But they’d be arriving today, in less than 30 minutes, somewhere they hadn’t been since they were kids: Stardew Valley.

Alex jumped, interrupted from the thought as he quickly wiped his tears and turned around, his eyes meeting with someone’s who he recognized almost immediately because he stook out like a sore thumb against all the other people who lived here. It was Sebastian, the town’s very own ‘vampire’. (Or goth, emo, scene kid if you wanted to put it a bit more lightly)
Alex stared for a moment, before realizing the other was expecting a reply. “..Yeah, yeah, I’m fine-“ He muttered, but it came out more like a croak and he cleared his throat. Mentally punching himself in the gut for allowing anyone to see him like this. He was embarrassed, ashamed.
Sebastian opened his mouth once more, but instead of either making fun of him or asking if he was okay like Alex dreaded he would, he simply said “Want to come sit on the dock with me?”

With his cousin stuck in the hospital, the Kaedehara's suddenly have a curious little eccentric in their household who insists on going by the title 'Kabukimono'. The secret ward of Niwa Hisahide, his beloved cousin.
As Kazuha begins to uncover the mystery behind this little eccentric, the two of them continue to grow closer under the moon’s eternal eye, and begin to develop into their true selves.
The eccentric girl helps Kazuha realise that perhaps the noble life of an heir was not the future he wished to pursue, and the kind and gentle boy helps Kabuki realise that perhaps she’s less of her mother’s “daughter” than she was Niwa’s “child”, or daresay, "son".
Alternatively, Kabukimono plays Stardew Valley with Niwa every night following his hospitalisation. With each passing day Niwa is in hospital, Kazuha and Kabuki grow closer, while the man grows restless and weak.
(The Stardew Valley plotline is important guys I promise.)
