This is a different universe compared to Princess of Woods Beyond; here, Gavaldon has always been a part of the Endless Woods, the characters are older, and basically everything is different.

From School grounds to the Great War in Neverland, suspicion and chaos abound. By the Storian's reasoning and the Storian's reasoning alone, where they began brought them to where their luck ran dry.
This is a canon-divergent fic.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I wrote this fic BEFORE the publication of Fall, so don't expect this to follow canon at all. This prediction was incredibly incorrect.
Warning: This fic is probably a bit less sympathetic toward Rafal by its conclusion than my usual writing is.
