Summary
To connect with his roots, Stranger agrees to let Basil show him the basics of photography and plant foraging around the dream. Unbeknownst to Basil, Stranger’s focus lies elsewhere.
Basil keeps visiting Sunny's dreams. Stranger can see a million ways in which this can go wrong, but does that mean that he can keep his charge from connecting to his closest friend in ways that far transcend what is possible in the waking world?

Summary
After having lived as a hikikomori for the past seven years, Sunny's life comes to a grinding halt when he gains custody over Omori, his three-month-old infant brother. Forced to go outside and form a healthy environment for Omori to grow up in, he struggles to adapt to a life he left behind so many years ago and yearns to return to the fantasy world he spends most of his waking and dreaming hours in.
A devastating loss causes Stranger to pull away from society and move to a small town for a while, far away from society. As much as he wants to take some time for himself and let the world around him vanish, his new neighbour seems to be struggling a lot with basic living, let alone raising his baby—and it is simply in Stranger's nature to help those in need.
