Summary

Summary
Steve is a prince with a uterus, but due to rampant misogyny in his father's kingdom, this reduces his rights to mere property. As property, the King of Brooklyn had the right to offer the treasure that was his only child, an insolent boy in the King's mind, to the invading conqueror Barnes as a plea for mercy. Barnes's military outnumbered Joseph's 10-1. Steve was 15, a few months from 16, and even Barnes admitted Joseph was slime for using his child as tribute.
That did not stop Barnes from actually taking Steve. Barnes, as he later admitted, was not a good man, either.

He and his boyfriend Tony eventually have to resort to extreme measures to force him to accept that Tony is the one in charge. He's helpless to stop himself from resisting the humiliation the team puts him through, but he knows Tony will give him what he secretly wants anyways.
