Summary
When Scott picked up that Owlin figure in the game shop, he figured he'd made the right choice. Even if he wasn't aware of what would happen next, he managed to get some sick owl wings out of it, and owls are just awesome. Compared to the others, it seemed like he got the most of our their bad situation.
Until it didn't.
No one told him when he decided to be an owl, he'd get the all the bad parts along with the good. Granted, no one told him any of what was going to happen when he picked up that figure, but he still would've appreciated some sort of heads up.
Now he's just pissed.
Aka: I like owls too much so I wrote Scott having to deal with realism. This was written for me and me alone.

Summary
As their eyes adjust to the light above, as their skin adjust to the temperature around them, as their ears adjust to the talking echoing through the halls, and as their minds finally take in their surroundings.
They're in the backroom of that old game store, but it's different now. Cobwebs and dust covered the shelves and old items never sold. Sat at a table in the middle of the room were four unfortunate teenagers who just finished their journey and are home. All battle scars gone, all missing limbs back, but the trauma was still fresh and painful.
They're exactly how they left.
Or- The B team came home, and after months of being gone they’re expecting to go on with life, like nothing ever happened.

The 4 were standing face to face with a doorway. The exit as Marvin called it. It resembled the real world alot. A glowing red ‘EXIT’ sign posted at the top. They all held hands and stepped through the glowing purple door. Once going through the fog, they found themselves sitting around a table. Game Piece in hand. Scott had an owl man, dex had a catboy, clarrissa had a woman with demon horns, and Preston had an elf. Each of their fingers having their blood below their hands stained into the table. Looking at each other in silence, they were home.
It has been a year or more for them since they were back. Dex was still 18, dropped out of highschool, supposed to go on a date with Michelle, his best friend's mom within an hour. Clarrissa still had a meetup with her friends, and had to go pick up her motorcycle. Preston still had to get home before anybody noticed he was gone, since he had snuck out before. Scott had to get back to his job, and home.
