Hannah, like her parents is HYDRA deep within SHIELD, just like her partner Grant Ward, Hannah has been undercover in The Rising Tide where she allowed SHIELD to track herself and Skye another Rising Tide member.
At 20 Hannah attended SHIELD's Academy six years after she met Grant Ward who was also raised by John Garrett, Grant and Hannah were never loyal to HYDRA, they were only loyal to Garrett.

Her heart felt too heavy, she couldn't leave Trip behind, she couldn't lose him again. He couldn't die saving her a second time, but maybe, just maybe, they could spend those last moments together. Maybe dying together would hurt less than leaving him behind.

Skye and Trip get briefly trapped before She can leave the framework, and it's so painful, it's so utterly painful to be beside him like this. To feel the vibrations of his heart beating in his chest when his real heart had stilled so long ago. she couldn't bear it. She wanted to stay when she looked in his eyes and felt like she couldn't breath at the thought of leaving him like this again.
But she had to go, and they both knew that. So they just talked for a bit, they just talked as the world vanished around them and the time came that she had to leave.
