Everything was supposed to be over. Franz Hopper told five kids that if they followed his instructions, they could live normally again. What they don't know, is that X.A.N.A has evolved to the point of evading death. The Lyoko Warriors only delayed his progress, until one of them managed to seal him inside the Digital Sea. Aelita's father didn't tell them the whole story, and now the world has to face the unforgiving truth. William Dunbar must acknowledge the weight of his sacrifice.

A retake/retelling of the original series we all have come to know and love from start to finish with more emphasis on plot progression and tying the entire narrative together, borrowing from all Lyoko-related media to create a full story while also giving more room for character growth and not shying away from certain aspects the show itself didn’t have time for.
…and admittedly, what’s a Lyoko Fic without a bit of a self-servicing O.C? Sue me!

Yumi chews the inside of her cheek, waiting for Odd’s rebuttal. He nods along, a crease in his brow deepening.
“He’s not some evil X.A.N.A-controlled puppet anymore,” is his first argument. “The Supercomputer has been shut down for a year already and he's back to his old self. Mostly. If anything, I think playing second fiddle to a megalomaniac computer virus humbled him. And traumatised him a little, but I’m hardly a therapist.”
“Okay.”

I think about my fandoms a LOT. And, as does any fan, I think "what if this was a thing that happened?"
However, I am not creative or attentive enough to turn most of what I come up with into full length stories, especially not crossovers, as I am very bad at making different personalitiese mesh properly.
If anyone out there where to turn one of these headcanons into a full length story, I would be honored. Just please tell me the title when you publish it so I can read it too.
