Summary
In a world where an experimental pathogen slips loose from Mr.P's lab, society braces for catastrophe... Only to discover that this infection doesn't destroy consciousness or turn everyone into zombies. It transforms it.
The infected awaken with glowing eyes, heightened senses and strange new abilities born from their strongest traits. Some treat the infection as a gift. Others see it as a curse. The uninfected look on with fear or curiosity, and an uneasy coexistence begins.

Summary
In a post WW1 scenario, things have changed a lot since the last time Soldier was in Lucella. Without a home and with no expectation for a new place in the city, Soldier goes to live with his only known living friend from the war, Torcher; who lives on a farm, to the west of the big city. Through hardships and struggles, their bond grows as they discover more and more about each other's experiences during the war.
