"Koto, you need to relax," Kurama insisted. "None of this serves you or the babies."
"I know you can get through this," said Yukina. "We'll do it together, okay?"
Koto couldn't be angry with Yukina. She reached out her hand, and the Koorime girl tightly grasped it.
"Fine," she gasped. "What do I do?"
"Just picture yourself somewhere nice," said Yukina. "I like to picture a peaceful meadow on a snowy day, with cute little animals gamboling all around me. What about you?"
"Someone getting painfully torn apart in the ring." Coincidentally, that was what she wanted to do to both Touya and Kurama right now.
...
Koto mates with Touya, only to break up with him so she can focus on preparing for the Dark Tournament. Little does she know, they've mated quite literally, and she doesn't find out she's pregnant until she goes into labor at the worst possible time...at the Dark Tournament itself!
