Note: In my headcanon Barnacles is from an indigenous Inuit tribe, a FICTIONAL Tribe of polar bears because British Barnacles is just wasted potential in my opinion
Slight Warning; Because of Barnacles's good hearing I gave him a sort of dissociative disorder without really realizing it, or meaning to, he kind of starts using words like “won't” or “octo agen’”, basically he starts using contraction words when the noise gets too loud and kind of spaces out
Not really a cross over, the bag Barnacles has and the board are just magic and a scene later will include magic from the Harry Potter world, but that's it; for now at least

Summary
Polar nights are long. And while one can easily get used to how long they are after spending years at either pole, there are certain things about them that you seem to stop taking notice of after awhile. The cold and the rushing winds become normal, even welcome thing, and you start to stop thinking about the company of others. So, when company does find you, it is something of a special occasion. For people who have experienced the nights for as long as Professor Natquik has, it is a special occasion you take full advantage of.
This one’s a pretty straightforward little fic. I’ll admit I just find this arctic fox irresistibly charming and wanted to see him get some attention. Tracker just struck me as a perfect match for him. Here’s hoping you enjoy a bit of fun with this old fox as much as that polar bear does.

The course was simple. Swim from the shores of Australia's course to a point in the ocean where the gups were stationed. Find one, get one and get out of there. Head up to the Arctic and race across sea ice before getting back in your gup on the other side and getting down to the shore. But in a violent turn of events, is the course as safe as it seems.
This includes many OCs throughout the stories but they hopefully aren't confusing.
