Unfortunately, with a brain so busy trying to remember how to be sick, some of his own paranoia bleeds out and reopens a previously unknown injury on the rancher's heart.

Tears tumbled down their cheeks, eyes bloodshot and cheeks red. Their lips parted, struggling to breathe correctly, and yet it wasn’t the fact that Twilight had clearly woken from a nightmare— jumping alive in fright. It was the silent way he looked at him and just couldn’t process Time at his side.

Time gives a small smile, trusting Twilight to be able to see him with his considerably better night vision. “What is it? You can tell me.”
Hesitation hangs in the air between them until Twilight speaks, sounding very small for such a strong man. “I had a nightmare.”
