For years Vander and Silco have been friends and comrads working towards this goal.
They'd put everything they had into building the lanes, creating a community, and leading the rebellion. All to create a free nation of Zaun. And if in their quieter moments they both sometimes wished they could be something else to each other too, then that would simply have to wait. The cause came first.
The rally on the bridge of progress was supposed to be the first step towards finally achieving those goals and starting a new path for both Zaun and them. But then everything went wrong.
After the battle of the bridge, nothing is ever the same for Vander and Silco.

Summary
Life is an interesting thing. Some lives can appear perfect, like those in Piltover, or as broken as the those in Zaun appear to be. Regardless, those lives are simple. They live and eventually cease to exist. However, it takes those with the resilience and will to fight to turn their broken melody into a beautiful symphony.
It also takes a lot of resilience and will to not scream until your vocal cords are harmed beyond repair. But what do damaged vocal cords mean to someone born mute? To someone with a robotic prosthesis for a larynx? Does it mean nothing at all or does it mean everything in the world for them? Do they turn their own broken melody into a beautiful symphony or do they fall into further disrepair?
Miku lives her life trying to figure it out, but it's as murky as the waters of Zaun yet as sweet as the juice Vander serves at the bar.
