Dreadwing was “allegedly” supposed to be everything he could not be. Stronger, more level-headed, more loyal, less impulsive, the perfect second-in-command while he was “offline”. And yet, here he was, sparked up, but by who? Perhaps the position of second-in-command was one that spent more time in berth with the warlord than other officers.

Wheeljack finally brings himself to visit an injured Bulkhead. He may not want to see him that way. Bulkhead may not even want to see him after what happened with Miko, but well it'll hurt to try or not so he might as well give this a shot.
This takes place after the Transformers Prime's episode, Hurt.

Summary
In the two million year mark of the war there was an outbreak of a plague that left both sides of the war in utter disarray. Decepticons left the planet in an attempt to escape the virus and free themselves. Though that left the Autobots to pick up the scattered pieces of their planet and track down their enemy.
Bulkhead get's separated from his team leaving him alone with a wound. Wheeljack has been alone for quite some time and decides to step in and help a fellow Autobot in need. What he doesn't expect is to find a partner and perhaps a family along the way.
