Back on earth the Stargate team brings her aboard and finds out she learned a lot from Goa'uld. With the hope that her knowledge can overthrow the Goa'uld and save other planets she begins going on their adventures. Daniel starts to overcome his grief of losing his wife the more he spends time with her.

With exceptional strength, he shoves the ancient head-grabber device onto the transport platform, along with the chunk of ancient wall, covered in dust and grime. It occupies the entire space, with no room left inside the circle. Well, that fucking figures.Thinking quickly, Ba’al scoops Rush off the floor and takes a seat cross-legged on top of the ancient device, just barely fitting both of them inside the transport rings area. “Shame they don’t have insurance for these spaceships on Earth. It’s about to crash. Total loss, I fear. They’ll blame it on special effects gone wrong. Or maybe a movie marketing stunt?” He wonders out loud.

Summary
For millennia, the starship Destiny has been circling aimlessly in a in a distant galaxy ruled over (or rather, loosely supervised) by the once-infamous system lord Ba'al. He's been completely unable to access the stranded starship after years of secretly trying. When a crew of Tau'ri arrives and successfully activates the stranded Destiny, bringing it back to life one day at a time, he's vexed beyond belief.
Ultimately, they strike a bargain. In exchange for safe passage once its drives are activated, and continued control of the starship, Ba'al reserves the right to borrow its human crew to assist him.
When he's challenged to participate in a brutal medieval-style dispute-settling tournament, he realizes they're the best allies he's got.Little do they know, his plan to ensure victory is absolutely unhinged, and he trusts only one man on the Destiny to help him.

The meeting between the Goa'uld system lords arrives, and the Tok'ra offer opportunity: Cut the head from the snakes, and potentially end the war with the enemies SG-1 has been fighting for five long years. Except to the MVTF, the offer doesn't just feel too good to be true. It feels like a setup.
Even then, the benefits are too potent to ignore. As the MVTF sends teams to learn more about the Tok'ra, one of their own will be sent up to observe on the meeting, and with luck, possibly eliminate the threat of the Goa'uld Empire forever.

Summary
This is not a feel-good story in the beginning. This is about shattering trust and trying to rebuild a life afterwards. There's tons of triggers in here. Heed the ratings and warnings. There is rape in here, more than one description of it. But even after, there's signs of second chances and healing. It's a long road, though. It's hard to read, and was incredibly hard to write.
This has turned into a story about hope and overcoming. Chapters get more hopeful as more are written. But this is dark and won't be everyone's cup of tea or coffee. Thank you for everyone who has taken time to read and comment. It's nice to know I'm handling this as well as could be expected.
