Summary
Bucky wants the soft and gentle touches of a lover. He desperately yearns for Tony's soft smiles and delighted laughs after the blood and gore of a job.
He wants to bask in the hurt, in the pain, in the anger, and hatred. He wants to tear them apart with his bare hands and stare into their eyes as the light fades, and then return home to Tony. To the tender kisses and warm moments that drive him to his knees in devotion.
He wants to bask in the praise of being home on time for dinner, wants the cuddling in bed after a tough mission that leaves his muscles sore, wants the careless caresses, and the soothing rhythm of Tony's fingers in his hair.
If Tony knew? He would leave scared. Run for the hills, and his perfect boyfriend would leave in the second flat.
But that doesn't mean Bucky doesn't want.
And that doesn't mean his world doesn't crumble down around him, because Tony could only be so close for so long without being brought into the fray.
