Konoha, especially the Copy Ninja, will seek to discover what happened on the night of the kidnapping and the month following this said disappearance which marked the young boy forever.
Author Notes: The principal genre is mystery. The romance is not in the centre of my story and the first book/work of this series don't have it. But it plays a major role throughout the story, it is present in book/work 2 and so on. Just a reminder that if you expect them to fall in love and be a cute couple right away, this isn't the case here. However, the long wait will be worth it and romance WILL be focused at some point. ♥

An argument has Naruto revealing a number of insecurities and doubts. It finally becomes clear to Kakashi that he has a lot of damage control to do if he'd ever like to fix things with the charismatic teen. Especially when Naruto's convinced that his Sensei never cared in the first place.
Showing Naruto just how much he cares proves to be much easier to do after nearly losing the blonde in an ambush.
